ShapeGrabber Ships Second 3D Scanner to Yale University

Ottawa, ON Canada –ShapeGrabber, a manufacturer of 3D scanners for industrial applications such as quality inspection, has now shipped its second 3D scanner to Yale University to be used in biological research.
The laser scanners are used by two of the school’s departments to scan the whole surface of complex-shaped parts, both organic and man-made. Most recently, ShapeGrabber shipped its PLM 330 portable scanner to Yale. The PLM Series laser 3D scanners are portable and extremely accurate, enabling users to scan small to large objects that are immobile or difficult to reach.
