ShapeGrabber Appoints Sales Director For North America

Danyel Benoit Brings Over 20 Years of Industrial Experience to Position of Director - North American Sales

Ottawa, Ontario - April 7, 2003 - ShapeGrabber Incorporated, a leader in the design and manufacture of 3D Inspection Systems for Industrial Applications, announced today that Danyel Benoit has been hired as Director - North American Sales.

"Dan Benoit brings a wealth of industrial experience to ShapeGrabber," indicated Pierre Aubrey, Vice President - Sales and Marketing. "Dan's appointment will be tremendously valuable in terms of introducing our 3D Inspection Systems to the fabricated metal and plastics industries. His knowledge of our target industries will be a source of valuable feedback regarding what is required from a product development perspective in order to ensure ShapeGrabber's success in those markets."

In his capacity as Director - North American Sales, Mr. Benoit will be responsible for direct sales of ShapeGrabber^® products throughout North America and for developing ShapeGrabber's expanding North American distribution network.

Mr. Benoit brings over 20 years of industrial experience to ShapeGrabber. As the President of Micro Concepts & Solutions Incorporated (MCSI) he was instrumental in the co-development and marketing of the world's first laser driven two-dimensional sheet metal part inspection system. Danyel also brings with him over 15 years of capital equipment experience with large multi-national industrial equipment manufacturers.
