ShapeGrabber Signs Distribution Deal with Optical Gaging Products' Asian Subsidiary

October 23, 2007, Ottawa, Canada: ShapeGrabber, a leading firm in the design, manufacture and marketing of automated inspection systems for industrial markets, today announced that the company has signed a distribution agreement with Optical Gaging (S) Pte. Ltd, (OGS). Under the agreement OGS will be selling ShapeGrabber's product line to several countries in South East Asia.

OGS is a Quality Vision International Company. The parent company, Optical Gaging Products Inc., USA specializes in the manufacture and design of non-contact and multi-sensor metrology systems. From its Asian headquarters in Singapore, OGS provide sales and service to support the South East Asia region.

Commenting on the distribution agreement, Kelly Ho, General Manager of OGS said that accessing ShapeGrabber's line of 3D scanners opens up new opportunities for OGS. "ShapeGrabber's technology is second to none. There will be strong demand for their products in this market and we are looking forward to a long and productive relationship".

Marc Bisson, ShapeGrabber's CEO said the OGS agreement gives the company an important window on the Asian market. "OGS has a strong market position and we think they will take our products even further into that market. It's an exciting development for ShapeGrabber."
